Questions

Things to do, answered

Which experiences are included in a stay at Mokha Grove?

The guided estate walk, the bonfire and stargazing are included in every stay, and so are birdwatching from the balcony, the orchards and pond, and the kids' zone with table tennis and carrom. Two things cost extra: the 4x4 jeep ride and air-rifle target practice.

How much do the jeep drive and target practice cost?

Both cost extra. The hosts quote the jeep drive rate on WhatsApp; air-rifle target practice starts at about ₹1,500. Rates are approximate and may vary slightly with the season or demand. Please confirm with the host. Book either before you arrive or during your stay.

What is there to do at Mokha Grove in the evening?

A bonfire on the lawn under string lights, weather permitting, and then the night sky. The estate is a long way from town lights, and November to February brings the clearest skies. Carrom is there for rainy nights.

Is the estate jeep drive the same as a Coorg jeep safari to Mandalpatti?

No. The jeep ride stays on the estate's own trails near Pollibetta, with a local guide. The 'Coorg jeep safari' most people search for is the trip up to Mandalpatti, elsewhere in Coorg, and a separate day out.

What can children do at Mokha Grove?

There's a play area, table tennis on the veranda and carrom indoors, and children tend to love the orchards. The coffee walk suits all ages, in shoes that can get muddy. For the jeep drive and air-rifle target practice, ask us about the youngest age that can join.
