Privacy policy

This website is run by Mokha Grove Retreat (Mokha Grove), a boutique homestay near Pollibetta, Coorg (domain: mokhagrove.com). We keep it simple: we collect as little as possible and we don't track you.

What this website collects

Nothing on its own. The site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not store anything in your browser. Fonts, photographs and videos are served from our own site, not from third parties.

Like every website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use these for marketing.

When you send an enquiry

The "Check availability" form doesn't send anything to us. It builds a WhatsApp message in your browser with your dates, number of guests and any note you add, and opens WhatsApp so you can review and send it yourself. If you choose email or phone instead, the same applies: you decide what to share.

Once you message us, we use your name, contact details and stay details only to answer your enquiry and manage your booking. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to messages sent through WhatsApp.

The contact form

The email form on our Contact page sends your name, email, optional phone number, topic and message to our inbox (info@mokhagrove.com) so we can reply. The form keeps nothing in your browser, and the website stores no copy of the message once it is emailed. A short-lived, anonymised counter is used to stop spam. If you would rather we deleted an email you sent us, just ask.

Instagram, Google Maps and booking platforms

Guest reels from Instagram and the Google map load only when you click to play or open them. At that point Instagram (Meta) or Google may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Links to Airbnb, Google and Tripadvisor take you to those sites, which have their own policies.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent personal information. We share booking details only when needed to host you (for example, if a booking was made through a platform) or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from an enquiry or stay, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to info@mokhagrove.com or messaging +91 63636 42120.

Changes

If we add anything that changes this (for example, visitor analytics), we'll update this page and the date above first.
