A quiet Coorg for two
A boutique homestay on a coffee estate near Pollibetta: a balcony over the trees, a fire on the lawn and a sky without town lights.
The house rule
Quiet, on purpose.
No stag or party groups, which keeps the estate the way it is: birdsong at breakfast, nobody's music after dinner.
Just two suites, with coffee and shade trees all around. Days here are made of small things: a walk, a long breakfast, an afternoon on the balcony, a fire.
“Such a peaceful vibe, perfect to just switch off and relax. Loved the greenery, the calm surroundings, and the super warm hospitality.”
Where you'll stay
The suite, and its balcony.
The Signature Suite is built for two: laterite walls, a king bed, a bathroom that looks out to green, and a private balcony over the plantation.
Breakfast is included, and the kettle in the room means the first coffee of the day never has to wait for anyone.
“The balcony view is absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms are super comfortable with squeaky clean washrooms.”

A day for two
Slow mornings, a fire at night.
Nothing here runs to a timetable. Here's one way a day can go when there are just the two of you.
-
Early
Coffee on the balcony
Make the first cup yourselves from the kettle in the room (estate coffee and tea) and take it outside while the birds work the canopy.
-
Morning
The morning estate walk
After breakfast in the pavilion, walk among the coffee and hear the estate's story. It's included.
Coffee Stories -
Late morning
The jeep, for two
The estate's open jeep goes where the walking paths don't, up to the higher ground. A paid add-on, starting at ~₹1,500.
Jeep Adventure -
Afternoon
Nothing at all
A thatched gazebo on the lawn, a book, the pond below the cottages. Nobody will ask what your plans are.
-
Evening
Dinner by the fireplace
Home-cooked local cuisine in the open pavilion, with the brick fireplace lit. Dinner is extra, with prior notice.
-
After dinner
The fire, then the stars
The bonfire on the lawn under the string lights, then the stars. November to February brings the clearest skies.
